paisley

embossed paisley design with orange sparkle

postal, but in a sweet way

breakin' the rules: season's greetings

i've always done things differently. choosing holiday card colors is no exception.
show me the law stating they must be red, green blue and white and i'll show you my bridge for sale.

gumball greetings

mint green envelope with soft, grey "leather" liner.
marine green-blue envelope with butter yellow "leather" liner.
gumballs are little, teeny crystals.
i <3 these!

papa-paparazzi!

a sunny hello to you!

curry envelope with butter yellow "leather" liner.
guaranteed to put someone in a warm, sunny mood.

thank you. no, thank you! (part 5)

same as part 3 with a twist: lavender envelope with limey green "leather" liner, sparkles on cards.

for my friend's mom, who loves the color orange and gardening.
the background is made up of quotes about gardening and gardeners.

all growed up: my brother's wedding

aren't we cute? i think this is from 1979.
flash forward, er um, back? to 2004, when i was a redhead.

i was the "best man" in my brother's wedding.

i shouldn't have to tell you this was a big deal for me, but i just did.

my sister-in-law enlisted me to help with the invites, programs, table names, CD favors, and the drink menu.

my family will never let me live down how tipsy i got at the reception.
but...nobody will ever forget my "best-'best-man'-ever" toast (or the inside-joke-plastic cups)!
not a dry eye in the room.

cheers!

(digital mock-ups, plus a couple real life photos)

this is where is all began: the good ol' detroit days.
